This Orthodox church, built in the early twentieth century, belongs to the retrospective Russian style, which is clearly manifested in its architecture.

Петропавловская церковь, 1908 г., аг.Дрисвяты

The exterior of the church is characterised by typical decorative elements taken from architecture of Kievan Rus', such as semicircular zakomars and onion domes. Plastered facade details in combination with red bricks give the building a special expressiveness. The church consists of a belfry, narthex, main volume and apse, and its architectural decoration includes elements characteristic of 17th century Russian Baroque architecture, such as chimney columns and onion domes.
