Our country has a rich history evidenced by palaces and castles, which were once erected on our lands. Could you imagine, that there are more than 100 castles in Belarus? And all of them are beautiful and unique in their own way, each has its history and its features ... Unfortunately, not many stately structures have been preserved in their original form - numerous historical sites were destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. Today we tell you about the most beautiful castles that take your breath away.
Nesvizh Castle
This sightseeing attraction is the most visited among tourists. Indeed, it is hard to argue that the Nesvizh Castle is an architectural landmark of Belarus. The palace was erected in the 16th century and was a stately structure surrounded by a deep moat filled with water. Getting inside the castle was only possible across the bridge. It is interesting to note that no one managed to scale the Nesvizh Palace wall! Today the castle has been completely restored.

There are a lot of things to see here: magnificent luxurious halls, architecture unusual for Belarus, and a well-kept large park. But your activities here are not limited to this. You can rent a car-bike or kick scooter, tack up a horse, arrange a photo shoot or just go to the beach, the cleanliness of which will surprise you. Everyone should visit Nesvizh and see this splendour and luxury for themselves. By the way, the Nesvizh Castle is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List!

It’s a no less famous landmark, which is also under UNESCO protection. Mir Castle is full of legends and mysteries that are closely connected to its history, which began in the 16th century. A truly powerful building has belonged to more than one owner. We will not tell you in detail about the history of the Mir Castle, as it will be much more interesting for you to find out all this by taking a trip! In 2010, a complete reconstruction of the castle was completed. Now we are glad to see visitors here.
Kossovo Castle
A long time ago, or rather at the end of the XIXth century, Kazimir Puslovsky decided to build a residence for himself that every nobleman would envy.
Now the Kossovo Palace is named after the princely family. All lovers of something unusual and original should visit and look at the palace and park complex in Kossovo! The palace was built almost 10 years and is strictly designed in retro-Gothic style. The castle is located in the Brest region and is open to the general public.
Palace in Krasny Bereg
There are a lot of amazing things to see in Belarus. The Kozell-Poklevskikh estate is direct proof. This bizarre structure seems to combine the uncombinable: different architectural styles and different epochs, contrast colors, and many original details. Many mention a hall in the neo-Moorish style with Arabic ceilings. Well, where else can you see this in Belarus? It is also interesting that the English park that surrounds the walls of the castle was designed by a famous landscape designer from Warsaw, who was bursting with novel ideas. At the beginning of the 20th century, the palace was nationalized. Now the agricultural college is located here, but you can visit the main building, which, after long years of restoration work, is ready to host dear guests.
