Visa-free regime between Belarus and China begin  to working at the end of this year

The result of negotiations between President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping was the conclusion of a document what will establishing a visa-free regime between Belarus and China. The visa-free regime between the countries begin working in October-November 2018, according to Yaroslav Khmyl, senior advisor to the main consular department of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. Thanks this  document, Belarus are among the few countries in Europe that have a visa-free regime with China.

According to the diplomat, it is not yet possible to definite a date when the visa-free regime between Belarus and China  begin working: «Usually such agreements come into force after all domestic procedures are implemented, in this case it will be ratified. The parliamentary session ends in two weeks, we will try to meet this deadline, but, if not, it will be already during the next session in October-November 2018. So, most likely, it will be».

In China, Belarusians without a visa can stay up to 30 days during one trip, but not more than 90 days in year. Citizens of China will be granted the same visa-free conditions in Belarus. For educational and professional activities will need to receive a special visa. Visa-free regime provides for private trips, business trips, tourist trips.
