A Few Interesting Facts

  • The first Autumn Salon project was held in Minsk in 2015 and was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Belgazprombank.
  • The First Salon sought to recreate the atmosphere of the early XX century. So the visitors could see not only the works of young authors, but also the works of the real participants of the legendary Parisian Autumn Salons, which are kept in the corporate collection of Belgazprombank: Leon Bakst, Marc Chagall, Chaim Soutine, and Oscar Meshchaninov.
  • Each Salon differed from the previous one. The members of the national and international jury changed. The winners received different awards: from the participation in the Paris Autumn Salon and money prizes to a personal exhibition in Art-Belarus Gallery. And we can only imagine what awaits its visitors in 2021.

This is not just an exhibition, but a part of Belarusian art history. The variety of the works will impress everyone, because, it is worth mentioning, that young artists are very talented. And a vivid, interested public reaction proves it. By the way, it’s probably one of the longest-running art projects in our country.
