The mighty defensive-type church with battlement windows, heavy walls, impressive brickwork, round towers with spiral stairs served at various times not only as a place of worship and prayers, but also as a defense for local residents during military operations. The temple was destroyed several times: in 1656 during the war between Russia and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in 1706 - the church fell under the Swedish army of Charles XII cannon fire. The appearance of the church was significantly changed during the major renovation in 1871-72.
In the Murovankova church you can see artifacts created in the 16th century: tiles that covered the roof of the temple, bricks with footprints of "medieval cats" and much more.
The church preserves and exhibits artifacts created in the 16th century.
