It is one of the youngest and truly unique parks, the standard of the Baltic Lakes landscapes.
Hundreds of picturesque lakes, pristine nature and unusual relief of the Ice Age made the Braslav region one of the most beautiful corners of Belarus. It is located in the extreme north-west of the Republic of Belarus in the province poetically called “Belarusian Poozerie”.
This is the place where:
there are about 300 lakes and ponds;
relict invertebrates live, which indicate the purity of the water;
concentrated about 35% of birds nesting in Belarus;
the edge of the islands: there are more than 100 of them on the local lakes;
there are more than 30 species of fish.
Only here:
there is an observation point of Braslav district – mount Mayak (174 meters);
there are many geological and historical monuments from ancient times to modern times;
there is a great opportunity to go scuba diving and sailing.
