In 1819, Nikolai Grebnitsky built a Uniate church in the village of Ariechavna. After the prohibition of Uniatism by the Russian imperial authorities, it became Orthodox. In 1884, a new Orthodox church of Saint Paraskeva Friday was built on the site of the old one, in the style of late classicism.
During the Soviet period, the church was used as a collective farm warehouse. Only in 1993 the church was renovated and reopened to parishioners. Today, Saint Paraskeva Friday Church attracts attention with its beautiful architectural style and historical significance for the local community.
It belongs to the religious community "Parish of the church of the Great Martyr Paraskeva Friday of the village of Ariechavna, Ushachy District, Polotsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church"; the priest is Archpriest Vyacheslav Ivanovich Lobets.
