Originally built in 1601 by decree of King Sigismund III, the church is listed as a historical monument of Belarus.
Due to wear and tear, the church was completely rebuilt in 1733. In 1902, the wooden building was destroyed by fire. Because of the large number of believers in the parish, it was decided to restore the sanctuary. In 1903, an estimate was developed for the construction of the new church, and a postcard with the design of the Zadarozha church was issued, calling on believers to donate to its construction.

The solemn consecration of the newly built Church of Our Lady of Tender Mercy took place in 1910. However, it differed slightly from the image on the postcard, as state funding for the construction of the shrine was significantly reduced.

This beautiful catholic church, adorned with elegant Gothic details, attracts attention with its majestic architecture and historical significance. Its sanctuaries house a valuable icon of the Immaculate Mother of God from the 17th century, making it a place of special spiritual significance.
