About the Church

The stone  Church of the Saint Life-Giving Trinity was constructed between 1890 and 1896 and was part of the Neklyudovo Boris-Glebovsky Monastery, established in 1885 on lands donated by State Councillor Philipp Leshkov.

After the revolution, the church was closed, but services were still held there from 1941 to 1962. In 1962, it was officially closed.

In 2005, it was assigned to the Convent of the Patronage of the Mother of God in the city of Talachyn (or Tolochin) for restoration work. This architectural monument of the retrospective Russian style features characteristic elements such as a three-tiered bell tower, refectory, prayer hall, and apses.
