The Museum collection of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble is one of the richest in the Republic of Belarus. The basis of the collection is made up of memorial items from the collections of the Rumyantsev and Paskevich. Even though it is a small collection, it is the most significant in the country as it gives an idea of the decoration of the rich noble estates of the late XIX century. The most interesting collections of the museum are: memorial items of the Paskevich family; archeological and numismatic collection; collection of manuscripts and old printed books; ethnographic collection; icon painting and cult items; marine organisms. Materials about prominent statesmen, military leaders, representatives of science, culture, education, whose life and activities were connected with the history of the region, as well as a collection of paintings by Gomel artists occupy a worthy place in the expositions and collections of the museum.
