Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus
The Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre invites its young audience to experience the New Year’s magic. The performances “The Nutcracker” and “The Story of Kai and Gerda (Snow Queen)” will swirl you in the New Year and Christmas fairy tales, before which a New Year’s performance will take place in the lobby of the theatre. Don’t miss it, come earlier. And the stage of the theatre will turn into a fairy-tale palace. Both children and adults will be delighted. Take memorable photos near the beautiful New Year tree, as well as with the heroes of the performances.

Belarusian State Circus
On the eve of the New Year holidays, the Belarusian State Circus invites you to an unforgettable “New Year Journey”! The spectators, together with the main characters of an enchanting fairy tale, will go on a fascinating journey through the mysterious North, where they will meet wise shamans, mysterious builders of an airship, bring the fight to cunning and insidious robbers, get to know the northern Father Frost and even see the real inhabitants of the permafrost - giant mammoths! A wonderful winter fairy tale will be presented on the circus arena, full of the unique atmosphere of the North, vivid New Year’s adventures and exciting tricks!

National Art Museum
The Secrets of the New Year combined interactive program for visitors of 7-8 years old will be held on December 18. The program participants will get acquainted with the traditions of celebrating the New Year and Christmas, the history of the New Year tree, and also find out who Father Frost is and whether he always gave gifts. And after that, each small participant will be able to make a New Year’s toy with their own hands from paper and cardboard.

Museum of Christmas Tree Decorations
In the Museum of Christmas Tree Decorations every child will be able to plunge into a fairy tale, and an adult will be able to go back to a very early age. By studying Christmas tree decorations, you will learn about the customs of celebrating the New Year in different countries. You will learn all the secrets of the production of New Year’s decorations, and also, under the guidance of the company’s artists, attend educational workshop sessions on making Christmas tree decorations. The youngest exhibition visitors will be able to see a miniature interactive Christmas town.

Father Frost’s Estate
Treat yourself and your children to an amazing trip by the Special New Year’s train to the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park. A New Year’s train festively decorated will take winter travellers to Brest. Then transfer by bus to Pushcha, which will pass too quickly while listening to the intriguing story told by the guide. Father Frost’s Estate in Belovezhskaya Pushcha will hospitably open its doors wide, where a team of professional animators will not let either children or adults get bored. And after a fun walk around the Estate, all guests will be offered Pushcha herbal tea and pancakes with fragrant blueberry jam.

And of course, the centrepiece of New Year’s entertainment is the main Christmas tree in Oktyabrskaya Square, beautifully illuminated and decorated with ice sculptures of fairy-tale characters. Concerts by local performing artists, discos and performances are held here on New Year’s Eve.
