Mir Castle

The town of Mir is located one hundred kilometers from Minsk. The castle built was built there in the XVI century and today it is a real attraction.

Memorial Complex Khatyn

There is a truly heartbreaking place located 60 km from Minsk. Once upon a tome children played, the elderly laughed, and young people fell in love there. The happy life in the village would have continued if a terrible tragedy had not happened: Khatyn had been burned to ashes during the Great Patriotic War. This memorial will definitely strike a chord in all the visitors.

Navahrudak Castle

The town of Navahrudak played a very important role in the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Belarus.

But the ruins of the ancient castle built in the XII century attract the most attention. But by the ХVIII centure, Swedish soldiers had destroyed it. And since then it looks almost the same as today. The townspeople often have picnics in the area.

Brest Fortress

In a few words, it used to be a sturdy defensive construction, but now it is a popular open-air museum honoring the heroism of the Soviet soldiers. You will have to spend about three hours to examine its territory. And we highly recommend you to visit the V Fort, which is an almost abandoned structure with impenetrable doors, narrow underground paths, and frightening silence.

Belavezhskaya Pushcha

Almost every Belarusian has visited this place. Usually children come here because the main residence of Santa Claus is located in the Puscha. And all children dream of visiting it. But this is not the main attraction of the Belavezhskaya Pushcha — it is almost the only place in Belarus where you can see a relic forest. Some of the trees there are over 300 years old. In addition, a large number of animals live in the Pushcha, for example bison live there in its natural habitat. You can also see herds of moose, horses, and packs of wolves there.

There are many secrets and mysteries associated with this place. Basically, they are all about the Radziwill family and one of its members — Bona Sforza.

Dance parties and celebrations were often organized in this building in honor of the King of Poland, who, perhaps, spent there more time than in his homeland. The castle occupies area of 90 hectares, so you can see different styles: Modernism, Neoclassicism, and Renaissance — in its different parts.

Minsk Sea (Zaslausky Reservoir)

As we know, there are no seas in Belarus, and "Minsk Sea" is just the name of an artificial reservoir located 10 km from Minsk. In spring and summer this place is especially popular: people come there to cook barbecues and have picnics. The reservoir is pretty small: its length is about 10 km, its width is about 5 km, and its depth is less than 8 m. You can easily get there both by bus and by car. The coast is fully equipped for visitors. There are many restaurants and cafees, new booths for changing clothes, summerhouses, and playgrounds. On top of all that, there you can rent catamarans and other water devices to explore the picturesque views.

As you can see, there are many frequently visited sights in our country. People come there for very different purposes, as the places can trigger different emotions and feelings. But at the same time, all the sights are wonderful in their own way!
