The two-day event has been held at the Dudutki museum complex since 2007. Its purpose is to revive in memory an important event of Belarusian military history, to remind of the greatness of ancestors and their glorious victories. The Battle of Grunwald holds significant importance for the history of the whole of Europe. It changed the political and military balance on the world stage, strengthening the positions of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish Kingdom.
The central event of the festival is the reenactment of the Battle of Grunwald. This is a spectacular event where participants from historical clubs recreate events that took place six hundred years ago, using reconstructed copies of medieval armor, weapons, and military ammunition. The festival combines elements of military history, theatrical performance, craftsmanship, and music.
