We will tell you what these parks are and what else tourists do there, except for sincere enjoyment of the Belarusian nature.
Belovezhskaya Pushcha seems to be the most famous attraction of Belarus. This is a relic forest, which has been preserved on our territory (in the Brest region) and the territory of Poland since ancient times. Therefore, tourists here walk along strictly defined routes, as most of the park is closed and used for scientific purposes.
In Belovezhskaya Pushcha everyone can find something to their liking. Tourists can simply take a walk and look at the animals in the cages, including the majestic bison. Lovers of outdoor activities will also find something to do in the Pushcha. Tourists can play soccer, volleyball or tennis.
People also come to the park with tents, but you need to register in advance because there are too many people who want to enjoy Belovezhskaya Pushcha to the fullest.
The next park for lovers of outdoor recreation is the Braslav Lakes. It is located in the Vitebsk region, closer to the border with Latvia. This park attracts tourists thanks to its beautiful views, which you can admire endlessly. To do so, you can take the ecological trails ‘Balmont Park’ and ‘Slobodkovskaya Ozovaya Gryada’ ecological trails.
There are 4 recreation bases in the park, and tours for fishermen and hunters can be organized here. In addition, there are 30 tourist sites on the territory of the park. It is safe to say that everyone will find something to do in the park!
But there is more to come: there are exciting amusements in Braslav lakes. For example, ‘Beaver Safari’ or ‘Wildlife’ safari tour, where tourists observe animals in their natural habitat and take memorable photos.
The main advantage of this park is its diversity. This diversity can be observed in everything - in the animals that live here, as well as in the nature. There are meadows, forests, swamps, and even bison among the fauna of this park.
The Pripyatsky Park is also home to a large number of birds. There are so many birds that the park was given the status of a key ornithological area. Many birds that live here are included in the Red Book of Belarus. So, in the Pripyatsky Park you can enjoy not only the nature, but also the flight of birds.
Tourists take water trips along the Pripyat River and go on hikes. The tourists also visit majestic and old plants — the “Tsar Oak”, which is 800 years old, and the “Tsar Pine”.
Pripyatsky National Park is located on the border of Brest and Gomel regions.
Narochansky National Park is located in the Grodno region.
The most famous place of this park is Lake Naroch. It is the largest and cleanest in Belarus, and there are a lot of waterfowl here. In addition to swimming birds, there are a lot of medicinal plants. This is why there is the Apothecary Garden and a park of rare plants.
The park also offers helicopter rides to take a look at Lake Naroch, as well as canoeing and even scuba diving.
Every national park in Belarus has something unique that attracts tourists and makes good memories of the time spent. For this reason, there is a wide variety of recreation opportunities, and you can choose any according to your mood: simply walking and enjoying the nature or scuba diving and exploring the underwater world!
