The small town of Sula, located in the territory of the modern Stolbtsy district of the Minsk region, was first mentioned in chronicles in the 16th century.
At that time, it belonged to the Radziwill family, who often came to Sula for hunting. The last owners of Sula were the noble Lenski family – the estate belonged to the family from the second half of the 18th century until 1939, after which it was seized by Soviet authorities.

Over the following 60 years, the Lenskis’ ancestral home fell into decay, and the buildings were partially destroyed. In the early 2000s, a decision was made not just to restore the noble estate, but to create a cultural and historical park on the site of the former manor complex. In 2012, the history park "The Grand Duchy of Sula" opened its doors to the first visitors.
The park-museum in Sula is a venue where exhibitions from different epochs of Belarusian history are collected. Here you can see the site of ancient human settlement, a pagan temple, stroll through the medieval quarter, visit the Jesuit collegium, peek into the craft workshops, or the hall of noble glory.
All the sites in the park are interactive. Visitors are offered not just to look at the objects, but to take an active part in various historical activities – to shoot a bow, create craft items, or travel on a drakkar.
Most of the objects in the park are not historical structures, but new constructions. However, on the territory there are also reconstructed buildings from the 18th-19th centuries – the manor-museum and the Lenski family mausoleum, the former stable, where the "Royal Assembly" is now located. The interactive history park can be visited both as part of organized tours and individually.
