What does the program of the evenings at the City Hall include?
The annual evenings at the City Hall include an open-air musical and theater program. Every weekend from the end of May to September from 4:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. performances, concerts, film screenings and workshops of the Belarusian musicians and capital’s theater artists take place in the Upper Town.
There are 3 reasons to go to the City Hall in the evening:

The facilities on Zybitskaya Str. and Oktyabrskaya Str. work all year round and not only at weekends. But only in summer you can see a live performance of the artists of the Youth Theater, Musical Comedy Theater, puppet theater and new drama theater, as well as listen to immortal classical music performed by the Belarusian honored orchestras in the open air at the City Hall.

It’s free of charge, so you must devote your weekends to cultural education in this summer.

If you get bored, you can turn into the yard of the Monastyrski Hotel and watch a movie right on the street. So your evening will be full of romance.
What will be included in the program in 2021?
The first half of summer will be full of performances of the theater ensembles of the Musical Comedy Theater, the Bolshoi Theater, the Youth Theater, the Plastic (Youth) Theater, the New Drama Theater and the TriTformaT Project. The following performances will be shown: Thaw (literary and musical evening), Evening Tango (choreographic performance), Puss in Boots, Buzzy-Wuzzy Busy Fly, and Princess Mary.
Every weekend from 8:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. the dance programs “Catching Rhythms of Lindy Hop and Blues” and contemporary dance styles’ workshops of different studios will take place. Participation in such an event is like taking part in a free trial lesson. It’s a great way to find a new hobby by choosing a dance direction you like.
From July 17, an open area at the City Hall invites you to dive into the world of classical music. It's weird to listen to classical music in everyday life, we like listening to energetic popular songs more. Moreover, a special calm, peaceful and a bit solemn atmosphere is required to enjoy classical instrumental music. Such an atmosphere is created during the evening concerts at the City Hall. Come and appreciate the live performances of professional orchestras every weekend from 8:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. In 2021, the following orchestras will perform live:

The evenings at the City Hall are an affordable way to relax the mind and enrich your life with more culture without going anywhere further than a subway line.
