Belarusian Polesye, which is associated with many legends and historical events, is a picturesque valley of the Pripyat River, with century-old oaks, and unique swamps. The artist’s paintings are in the collections of about 30 largest museums in the world, including the Tretyakov Gallery (12 paintings). At the same time, it is in Gomel that the largest collection of paintings, watercolor paintings, and sketches of the artist’s monumental works for more than 50 years is displayed. Not only thousands of migrating birds stay here, but also more than 250 species of birds, including rare grey cranes, black storks, short-eared owls, and white-tailed eagles are local permanent inhabitants. Lovers of hunting and fishing will also be delighted with the park.
