Museum of Belarusian Book-Printing is located in a former living residence of Polotsk Epiphany Monastery that is an architectural monument of the 18th century.
Museum opened its doors for visitors on September 8, 1990 during the celebration of the 500th anniversary of Frantsisk Skorina.
Today it's the only museum in the country that collects and preserves monuments of writing (not only manuscripts and old printed books, but also modern editions), following the steps of glorious Polotsk enlighteners: Euphrosyne of Polotsk, Frantsisk Skorina, Simeon of Polotsk.
